Horse Head

Horse Head

Description : About two weeks ago (4/10/01) I shot these photos at the LAS site. Both the Horse Head and Orion were low on the horizon. I used my 90mm Meade refractor f-11 with an f-6.3 focal reducer. Both were 20-minute exposures. The film was Kodak PJ400, this was the first time I had used this film. I wasn’t very happy with it; I found it to be much grainer than the old PJM640 (that Kodak discontinued) or the Royal Gold 1000. The negative between the images were even grainy. After using the PJ400, the Royal Gold 1000 is now my favorite 35mm film.
